Grant Selection Criteria
This grant is designed to support young entrepreneurs and strengthen a culture of giving in our local business community.
Fees at a Glance
- Young Entrepreneur must be aged between 18–25 years old at the time of applying.
- The Young Entrepreneur must be accepted by the Membership Committee, at their sole discretion.
- On acceptance, the membership fee (currently $1,452, to be reviewed 1 July 2026) is payable by the Young Entrepreneur. The remaining onboarding and training fee (currently valued at $847) will be covered by the Grant.
- The Young Entrepreneur will still be required to complete all the BNI onboarding and training once accepted as a Member.
- This Grant is valid until 31 December 2026.

How to Apply
The approach for this initiative is to promote the BNI Core Value of Givers Gain® to the wider business community — by reaching out and supporting young entrepreneurs.
Purpose
To promote Givers Gain® as a business growth strategy for local businesses. Giving is a powerful business growth strategy.
Step One
Members invite a young entrepreneur to their chapter meeting.
Step Two
The young entrepreneur applies for membership under this Grant, meeting all selection criteria.
Step Three
Membership Committee Processed and may choose to approve the young entrepreneur's business.
The first-year training and onboarding fee is covered by BNI® under this grant. Only the membership fee is payable by the new young entrepreneur.
